DTO management will meet with and consult Management to obtain their knowledge of areas of concern as we believe that our Clients know their workplace best.

DTO officers will implement surveillance techniques and apprehend offenders, process offenders and if needed, to assist the prosecution process give professional evidence in Court.

Policy of DTO is that, officers will only approach and apprehend offenders when 100% sure and will not react on “hunches”. This leaves no room for false apprehensions and law suits.

DTO officers are professional and well trained in situations and in most cases, diffuse them with their words and professionalism. This leaves any onlooking, honest customers feeling safe and reassured, which in return will allow them to happily revisit the store without any future hesitation.

 

DTO carries its own liability and statue insurance and takes full responsibility for its personnel.

When it comes to retail theft DTO is competent in dealing with all aspects to reduce the adverse effects that plague the retail sector. 

 

In consultation with management, DTO will alleviate the pressure of profit loss to diminish theft.

Not only will DTO concentrate on theft but will observe and report any safety issues to DTO management that require attention, i.e. blocked fire escapes, cluttered aisles, etc. In return DTO management will inform store management. This will enhance the store's look and safety.

 

DTO officers will attend all in-store emergencies regarding customers and staff (i.e. customer may have a medical problem, staff member may have a disgruntled and abusive customer) A DTO officer will attend and appropriately deal with the situation.
